Services › Custom Glass Shower Enclosures
Unusual opening? Send dimensions and photos and we will design around it.
Custom enclosures are for the openings a stock door cannot handle: a knee wall that stops short, a sloped ceiling in an upstairs bath, a curved tile radius, a tub-to-shower conversion where the drain had to move, or a 1930s bungalow in North Park where nothing is square. Those jobs get measured, drawn, and cut for the space.
We work from the finished tile surface, which means somebody has to commit to the tile before glass gets ordered. That is the single most common delay on a custom job, and we will say so early. Once the tile is set we template, and glass lands 10 to 18 business days later depending on the finish and coating you choose. Curved glass and low-iron starphire run longer.
Four families cover almost everything we run into in San Diego homes.
Three panels meeting at 45 or 22.5 degrees. The usual answer for small corner showers in condos from Mission Valley to UTC.
Glass sits on the half wall with a channel or clamps, keeping the open feel without water escaping over the top.
Custom bent panels for curved tile and freestanding tub surrounds. Templated with a radius gauge, not guessed from a photo.
Glass to the ceiling with a transom and proper seals, built for steam generators and for rooms where heat loss matters.
| Type | Typical Range |

| Half-wall to glass with clamps | $1,800 - $3,200 |

| Full-height steam enclosure with transom | $4,200 - $7,800 |
Custom glass is non-returnable once cut. We confirm every dimension with you in writing before the order goes out.
We template, cut, and hang the glass ourselves. No subcontracted crew, no finger-pointing when a hinge line is off by an eighth of an inch.
You get the panel sizes, glass thickness, hardware finish, and total price in writing. Nothing on the invoice that was not in the quote.
Coastal humidity, hard water, and older tract-home framing all change what we specify. We pick glass and coatings that survive here.
Drop cloths down, old glass out in one piece, silicone lines wiped, and the debris leaves with us.
We look at the space, talk through layout options, and put a fixed price together with the hardware specified.
Glass gets measured off finished tile. Our clock starts when tile and waterproofing are done.
We template in person, you approve the marked dimensions, and the glass shop cuts and tempers to those numbers.
Panels, clamps, and seals go in. Doors get set so they close cleanly and hardware is torqued and capped.
Heavy 3/8 and 1/2 inch frameless glass, templated on site and installed with hardware that actually lines up.
Sealed, full-height glass enclosures for steam generators, with a transom that vents when you want it to.
Bypass and sliding glass doors that roll clean, seal at the jamb, and stop leaving a puddle.
We will tell you honestly whether stock glass fits or you need custom.
